The Story
Building Oahu’s gyroplane experience from the ground up
Skyland Air offers open-cockpit gyroplane flights from Dillingham Airfield — a genuinely unique experience with no direct competitors on Oahu. But they had no website, no search presence, and no way for tourists to find or book online. Every tourist searching “gyroplane Oahu” was finding nothing — and booking something else instead. The experience was five-star; the digital presence was nonexistent.
We built a premium editorial-style website from scratch — inspired by luxury travel publications like Condé Nast Traveler — with deep teal and sunset tones, a Fraunces serif display font, and GSAP scroll-triggered animations. FareHarbor handles booking inline, Google Places API pulls live reviews, and a custom SVG map lets visitors explore four flight routes across the North Shore. A 20-post blog pipeline drives organic traffic on autopilot.
